Short Term Missionary- PGM Japan 2018
Aloha, and thank you for visiting my donation page.
I’ve always been aware of the Japanese culture and how everything is somehow related to shame. You avoid certain things to avoid shame, and you do certain things, lest you incur shame. People are always hiding behind masks to cover doubt, pain, insecurity, fears, and emotions that would otherwise bring shame on them, and so they go about silently suffering and without hope. I want to go into this culture and learn how to effectively bring this hope to them, and bring that experience back home with me to do the same here.
Our mission is to support the church in Shizuoka (Every Nation Church Izu) by hosting a children’s camp, youth night, and an outreach event… plus a construction project.
My goal is to raise $2,200 so I can be a part of the mission to Japan.
We will be going from July 23 – August 3, 2018.
Thank you for your generous support!
