Jesus said, “Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” 

On September 29, 2008, the next Paradise Global Mission Thailand team will depart from Honolulu to embark on an unforgettable 12 day journey to the harvest fields of northeastern Thailand.  There, working in partnership with key country leaders in and around the strategic cities of Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) and Khon Kaen, we will have the opportunity of a lifetime to present the gospel of Jesus Christ and help with the multiplication of churches among the Isan people of Thailand. 

Is God calling you to step out in faith and join us as one of our key team members?  Consider the following. 

What would it take for you to experience the kind of Christian joy the apostle Peter wrote of - a joy inexpressible and full of glory?  Would it be knowing that you were used to help plant a new church in a previously unreached rural village?  Would it be hearing with your own ears precious Thai people praying to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?  Would it thrill you to worship side-by-side in a gospel service with wholehearted Thai brothers and sisters who comprise less than 2% of their nation’s population?

This mission will include:

Personal Evangelism & Discipleship
Ministry in Urban & Rural Churches
Prayer, Music, Drama & Dance Ministries
Outreaches to Prisons, Schools & Villages
Teaching English as a Second Language
Christian Leadership Training
Youth and Children’s Ministry
Compassion Ministries
Literature Distribution

If you are a devoted Christian in sound spiritual and physical health and you are willing to serve your Lord, your fellow team members, and the people of Thailand with a joyful and gracious spirit, then you are very much a candidate for one of our limited team openings. 

Some specific gifts we desire to have represented within the team include: 

• Music - singing & playing an instrument (e.g. ukuleles)
• Creative arts - drama, dance, mime, puppets, storytelling
• Teaching (adults & children) - simple lessons on the Bible, Christian living, English, Hawaiian/western culture, aerobics, various sports
• Hawaiiana/Polynesian (overlap with above) - dance/hula, crafts, songs, culture, words/phrases 

Our deadline for applying is April 25, 2008 with candidates being considered on a first-come, first-served basis.  The application is available for download from our website, www.gopgm.org.
